Knowing your style is important for communication and as a leader

The DISC communication workshop was very interesting, its encouraging that every individual should know that, because communication styles and preferences influences work relationship. This explains why there we have misunderstanding over little things. As an aspiring leader knowing the different styles helps a lot in handling people especially when there is need for change.  The knowledge aids one to adjust and come to the level of each individual to speak the language they understand for the effective implementation of ideas and changes. This explains better why  Nigerian Library Association  taught it wise that for the actualization of the SDGs the local people should be sensitized to be aware of what it involves and what they should do. In order to achieve this there is need to translate SDGs to their local dialect which they can understand so that we all can speak the same language.
